Possible Scenarios:

1. The US Dollar goes down against Korean and other currency, making purchasing power too low back home.

2. Booming Asian economies mean girls prefer to work in China or Korea or Taiwan.

3. Male female imbalance in Asia provides less excess females available for US AMPs.

4. Immigration rules in the US tighten.

5. America stops seeming like a land of opportunity, and rather as a land of perpetual economic decline.


I am not worried yet. Some AMPs are complaining of poor business, but those tend to be the lower quality establishments. Higher quality locations appear to be quite busy and generally happy (for now).

Lets see what 2011 brings.

It may seem ironic, but I have a Chinese girl friend - but still partake in this "hobby."

What I mean is, I know what I am talking about, here.
On topic, I can tell you with specific and detailed experience in the matter that being in the USA is still tremendously coveted. Legally or not, Asians want to be here regardless of (almost) any circumstance.
So, if the deisre to be here declines to the degree that these girls do not want to come here - we all, as a society, will have a LOT more to worry about. Seriously.

Look, individual AMPs will come and go (sorry for the pun), but I agree with cal_20904, the US is still the largest economy in the world and offers the highest standard of living for its residence. I have been to Seoul, China, PI, Japan, and Malaysia and without question, a girl can make MUCH more here than anywhere with less abuse from the men. Of all places, PI and Seoul are probably the worst in how they treat the women. Korean men are VERY sexist and PI is a haven for all kinds of abusive men from the rest of the world (From what I have discovered, Indian men are some of the MOST abusive).

Compared to the rest of the world, American men partaking in the hobby tend to pay the most and are also the most gentle - most women know this world over.

Sure... My last trip to the Philippines (PI) was 2008, just before the most recent series of unrest, "people power" demonstrations against an obviously corrupt Gloria Aroyo government. Angeles City, about a 3 hour drive North from Manila is a mongerer's wet dream. I would stay for a few weeks and know some expats who actually settled there. You can now get a flight directly to Angeles from Seoul! Anyway, I digress, it seems that India is becoming more lucrative and therefor, the Indian men are taking sex vacations to PI. Problem is, every bar girl I spoke with told me she would not go with one because they tend to be very rough once they go back to the hotel with them. Overall, the women in PI are probably the most innocent as far as the "game." They really hold out a fantasy that an American guy is going to meet them in a bar, take them back to their hotel, and fall in love with them and move them out of PI or move to PI themselves and bring enough money to care for them and their entire family.

Seoul is just crazy - Korean men are very sexist to their wives, to their massage girls and concubines, they tend to really get off on the whole power thing. The women who service these guys don't have much recourse if something bad happens so they tolerate it. Again, just going off of what I hear from the ladies who provide to me, they would MUCH rather be with an American guy than any other....

Le does not help matters either, Massage parlors who offer sex are a easy target for there quota for the month.The do gooders of American hurt a lot of Businesses one small town got rid of a couple of asian massage parlors in there area. Le can't figure out why a rise in abuse cases. Was said a massage parlor is bad for the community. Money does go back into the community is rent ,taxes ect they have to buy food and other items local pay rent and some taxes.. Hungry the Country making it legal for sex the estimated they will make about 1 billion dollars a year thru new taxes on workers ,doctor visits,must have stamped card stating different things. Just thru taxes the state of Ca could make about 100 million dollars a year off the sex trade. In Pa the state could make about 11 million dollars a year off the massage parlors in Pa alone

I wish so much that we could accomplish the same thing here.

The idea that these wonderful women get harassed by the police from time to time really pisses me off. Especially when these officers also partake in these services.

And yes, the taxes generated from legalization would fill government coffers at all levels.
