I called and made an appointment, I was an hour away in St. Cloud at the time. I asked for my previous provider, Tina, from a month ago, and was told she moved on, possibly to California. That sucked! I was told there was a new girl that would be happy to serve me, so I went anyway since my last visit was so satisfying. As was the case last time, it was clean and nice, but this time the provider asked if a massage table was good for me, and I said it was fine, either the mattress on the floor or the massage table worked for me.

I was on my way out of town, hoping on finishing off my trip by trying something new. As much wandering around as I did, I just couldn't spot anything -- then I remembered seeing this place when I stopped for gas at the nearby Super America a week earlier on my way through town.

When I walked in, no one was at the front counter, no one was in sight, and all of the doors down the small hallway were closed. I debated for a second -- park myself there in the lobby with a magazine or head out and forget about it -- and was just about to do the latter when an older Asian woman stepped out of one of the rooms.

She asked me what I wanted. A massage, of course. Twenty minutes I'd have to wait, either there in the lobby or in the first room. Stupid me, instead of hitting the road (I was looking at close to a six-hour drive), I opted to wait. I heard her talking to another person (I don't know if she opened the door to that room or not, but she did interrupt another session in progress), so someone else knew I was waiting, too. Yae.

The room wasn't much to speak of, just a small room with a futon, a small chair, a lamp, a small counter with their oils and what-not, and, if I remember right, a clock. Pretty Spartan and pretty confining. I roamed around a bit -- glanced at the magazines, grabbed a free paper off the counter, thought better of waiting in the lobby area, parked myself in the room, thought again about just leaving.

Eventually, another masseuse did show up, an Asian woman probably in her mid-40s. She had glasses on and was dressed somewhat conservatively, just dark business casual. She invited me to get undressed and left for a couple moments. So I did, and I laid there on the futon with a tiny towel covering my bum.

Her massage wasn't much to speak of, just a lot of oil and tentative rubbing that could be done by any untrained high school student. The pressure she used was quite a bit less than the medium I had asked for. And there was a quite a bit of a language barrier, too, though largely on my part. (My hearing's not the best, and it's pretty stuck on American Midwestern accents, so her thick Asian accent made any communication pretty rough.) She was a really nice lady though, someone who tried her best to please the customer.

Like I said, I wanted to try something new. It just cost me some time and some money, and now I know I won't be back.
